Randy Rogers Band and Lone Star Park

First...us. We went for a fun evening at Lone Star Park (horse racing) and Cary was there too, he took this picture!!
We had a press pass from getting a subscription to the Arlington newspaper and it gives us discounts and stuff and tons of places. So, we used it along with an ad from the paper and we all got in FREE!! it just so happened to be the same night that the RANDY ROGERS BAND was in concert!! The boys were way excited! We have extreme limited going out and doing things experience, but man did we handle that concert well!!
Here's the band. The boys went for autographs and pics. Zachary got a pic of Alexander with the band on his DSI, but he has yet to email it to me, so I am creating this with out and you will just have to believe me that Alexander stood next to them and was photographed.

There were soooo many people. Tons of high school aged people that honestly need parents or guidance or hey-how bout both?? Even the boys thought they were lacking brains or discipline. Now that's bad. Regardless.... there really were waaaaaay more people then this, behind me, to the sides!! We are not big crowd people, but hey, for a free RRB concert, we sucked it up!
On this particular night, they were filming a video for a new single called Interstate, so if you happen to see that video in the future, be sure to look for Alexander. He wiggled and squirmed his way up to the front and he is positive that he got in the video and hopefully it will be some footage that isn't cut and he will be in it!! He went thru soooo much to get there-he deserves it!!

They were awesome!! Cary and I were on a hill a ways back but super crowded with people, but we danced and sang. It was fun and I'm sooo glad we went!

Happy Halloween

oops! I loaded these backwards... oh well! So here are the pumpkins we carved at my sister Jacki's! We had loads of fun!
HAHA!! This is Zachary! He always does something funny!!

Alexander planning it all out!

Me and Cary hard at work. We looked pretty serious about our pumpkins!

He we are. Me, Cary, Zachary and Alexander. Alexander was talking on the phone to a girl...his grandma! She just happened to call while we were there so we passed the phone around to everyone, but he always talks a long time to her. Sometimes he calls just to chat! I think she likes it though!

Train ride

This is from the day Cary took me on the train for the first time. I didn't even care if we got off, I just wanted to ride! This is the inside of the train. We rode for awhile on the lower level, but as soon as I realized that there was a second level, we moved!
This is the old Dallas Courthouse. Pretty cool I thought. It really looks different from all the older west Tx courthouses that I am used to. I liked it alot. I took Brittany at night and this is really pretty!

I thought it was cool to see this up close. We always see it from the highway, but it's right near the station!

This is what the train looks like.

The Hurst/Bell station. I was a bit disappointed the first time because this is not very train station looking, but in Dallas, the station has a big building with lots of wooden benches like in movies, so I was satisfied. When I took Brittany at night, we were waiting for the train and a coyote came out of the woods, across the tracks, scanned the parking lot, then trotted across it and into the woods on the side of the lot. Interesting.
